Natural gas/ propane is typically the most cost effective fuel to fire an evaporator with. Carbon steel is a good low cost option for many waste streams. If your wastewater is not compatible with carbon steel, 316L Stainless Steel is recommended. Determine the total volume of wastewater that you generate per month. Divide this number by the number of days per month that you plan to operate the evaporator. Divide that number by the number of hours per day that you staff your facility.
